Donations needed for LWHS Staff Valentine Shortcake Bar Tue Feb 13th To Celebrate Valentine's Day and the love that we have for our teachers and staff, we would like to host a Shortcake Bar, resplendent with Strawberries, Blueberries, Shortcake and Brownies!!  The event will take place on Tuesday, February 13th.   Please drop off all items at the front office of LWHS by the end of day of Monday, February 12th. Senior Party Tickets on Sale Now!

LWHS Senior Party 2024 The LWHS Senior Party is a fun-filled all-night party for the Class of 2024! This annual tradition is a chaperoned, drug- and alcohol-free celebration that provides a safe, once-in-a-lifetime evening for our graduates. It is a last chance for graduates to be together after the formality of the ceremony and before they go their separate ways for summer and beyond and relieves the stress of making plans! Fall Give and Honorariums

Application Deadline for Fall PTSA Grants is Friday, October 27th LWHS PTSA is excited to be able to support the Kang community by funding equipment and activities that will help to foster connection and learning. LWHS PTSA has funds to support grants for school staff and ASB clubs: The teacher/staff enrichment grants provide an opportunity for staff members to request funding to support programs, equipment, or other activities that will help enrich the educational experience at LWHS. LWHS PTSA is partnering with Princeton Review to give students the opportunity to take the SAT test just “for practice” at no cost. Students can take this practice test any number of times and the scores from these  do   not  go on their record. Scholarships Available

Lake Washington PTSA Council’s 2024 Scholarship Program Lake Washington PTSA Council offers several student scholarships and two $500 staff scholarships each spring. This year's Student Scholarship Program will include 15 scholarships of $1,250 each: 8 Merit scholarships 1 LWEA/Teeley scholarship (funded by the LWEA) 2 Perseverance scholarships 1 Turnaround scholarship 1 Two-year, technical or vocational scholarship 2 At-large scholarships Applications for both staff and student scholarships are due by 11:59pm on Friday, March 29th. Amateur Photographers Needed

Call for Volunteer Photographers! LWHS PTSA is looking for adults to provide brief senior portrait sessions for students in need.   We know many parents in our community are skilled amateur photographers: if that describes you, would you be willing to volunteer your time and talent to help seniors gain access to this tradition? The Reflections Art Contest is a National PTA program that encourages students to explore their creativity via various artistic mediums. The theme for the 2023-24 contest is “I am Hopeful Because…” The program is open to any student who attends a school with a PTA/PTSA in good standing.
