Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Events

URGENT: Volunteers Needed for End of Year Events!!

Parents of Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen are needed to pay it forward and volunteer to help give our Class of 2026 Seniors a proper send-off!

Two opportunities to give the gift of your time and talents:

Click Here to Volunteer for SENIOR FAREWELL!

We're desperately seeking volunteers for Senior Farewell on Friday, June 12. This annual event will take place in the LW Commons and gives the senior class one last opportunity to connect, enjoy refreshments, and take photos in their caps and gowns at school. Volunteers are needed to help with decorating, set-up, serving food, and clean-up, and shifts are as short as one hour! Contact Elizabeth Fortman with any questions.

Click Here to Volunteer for SENIOR PARTY!

You don’t need a Senior to volunteer; come and find out what Senior Party is all about! We need 13 MORE volunteers for bus check-in and to chaperone the party! Questions can be sent to Senior Party Chair Mike Claiborne, seniorparty@lwhsptsa.org.

Celebrating Volunteers

Celebrating our Volunteers: Congrats PTSA Award Recipients!

At LWHS we are fortunate to have some of the most dedicated staff, volunteers, and students. We celebrated together at the Annual Volunteer Tea on June 3 and recognized this year's award winners. Please join us in congratulating them!

Honorable mentions also went to Beth Da Luz, Pauline Saloi‑Gillespie, and Terri Colburn for the tremendous work they do for our students and community.

PTSA Grants

PTSA Grants: Your Dollars Make a Difference!

We’re proud to share that the LWHS PTSA awarded 27 grants totaling $38,725 this year, supporting classrooms, clubs, and enrichment programs across our school community! This is in addition to funds spent on community events, staff appreciation, emergency preparedness, and other support programs. These investments help fill gaps in public funding and enhance the experience of our students and staff. Click here for a full list of grant recipients and how the funds were used. Thank you for the generous support that makes this impact possible. Go Kangs!
