The Senior Party needs 7 chaperones.
Are you able to pay it forward by supporting this night of fun?

The LWHS Senior Party is a fun-filled, all-night party for seniors presented by the LWHS PTSA! This annual tradition is a chaperoned, drug- and alcohol-free celebration that provides a safe, once-in-a-lifetime evening for our graduates.

The party is held immediately after graduation and chaperoned by parent volunteers. It is an inconvenient time for senior parents to volunteer at an all-night party (they have family in town, they are planning family graduation events, etc.).

The PTSA is seeking 7 chaperones for this party.  Following is a description of the role. The PTSA will provide detailed information and training before the event.

When: Friday, June 14, 2024

Start Time: Meet at approximately 8:30 pm at LWHS to carpool to the graduation location (UW Arena)

End Time: 5:30 am on Saturday, June 15, arrive back at LWHS

Role Description:

  • Participate as one of 16 chaperones for a 200+ student party
  • Travel on the student buses or in the chaperone carpool to the two event destinations
  • Chaperone at the event destinations
  • Help manage the flow of students (check in students at the Arena, perform headcounts on buses, etc.)
  • Dealing at a Blackjack table (for a subset of volunteers that would like to participate)
  • Talking with other parents and watching the kids have a blast!

What is Included for Chaperones:

  • Time at two venues. The first one should be attractive to adults
  • Dinner at the first venue, continental breakfast at the second, and snacks for the bus rides
