LWPTSA Council, in coordination with Lake Washington School District, is hosting our 8th annual Welcome Event for New and International Families on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 7 pm, at the LWSD Resource Center (16250 NE 74th St., Redmond WA 98052).

Speakers will present information in the board room from 5 to 6:30 pm. A community resource fair will take place from 4 to 5 pm in the lobby. See a schedule of speakers on our website.

Our annual welcome events are a great opportunity for new families to learn about the school district, ask questions, and meet other LWSD families. Topics will include accelerated programs, college and career readiness, special services, basics of the American school system, and social-emotional learning and support. Whether you’ve moved from a different county or from a different country, this event is for you! [download a PDF flyer]
