You're invited to our first General Membership meeting of the school year!  Everyone is welcome to attend (but only members can vote).  Our first General Membership Meeting of the year will be on Wednesday,   September 29  beginning at  7:00 pm . During the virtual meeting, we will approve our May 2021 GM meeting minutes , budget and our standing rules . Our November General Membership Meeting will be on Wednesday, November 17 at 7:00 pm. Our guest speakers will be Dr. Jon Holmen, LWSD Superintendent, and Barbara Posthumus, Associate Superintendent, Business and Support Services , who will give an informational presentation on the 3 LWSD levies that will be on the February 2022 ballot. King County Mental Illness and Drug Dependency (MIDD), in collaboration with Valley Cities, is providing  FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid training classes (each class takes place over two days) for interested adults living in King County. Attendees will learn how to assess and support children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing mental health or substance use challenges, and how to use the 5-step action plan to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.   Theme: I Will Change the World By...   Get your student’s creative juices flowing for this year’s Reflections competition. The theme is: I Will Change the World By… What is Reflections?
